  • Support projects from initiation through requirements development, test, and deployment.  Perform a variety of roles throughout the project life cycle, including requirements expert, tester, and owner of project documentation artifacts.
  • Use your experience and expertise to facilitate requirements gathering sessions for new capabilities, develop user stories, create process flow diagrams, produce screen mock-ups, and generate thoroughly documented use cases.
  • Leverage your strong analytic skills and experience to interpret complex client needs and business processes.  Distill this client input for use in test case creation.
  • Update and maintain project documentation such as user guides, use case specifications, test scripts, et al. to guarantee all stakeholders have the most current and up-to-date information.
  • Coordinate with project managers, technical leads, developers, and clients regarding business requirements and project-related information to ensure delivery of the highest quality end product.
  • Work with the project team and client to manage and resolve issues identified.

  • Three to five years of experience functioning in a business analyst role supporting web-based, database driven applications.
  • Experience defining business and system requirements ranging from facilitation of requirements gathering sessions through documenting and managing business and system requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive collaborating with a team or working independently.
  • Experience testing web-based applications, including identifying and testing the limits and alternate paths.
  • Creative problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable front and center with the clients, users, and internal team members.

  • Experience with troubleshooting environments via telephone or online tools, such as WebEx or LiveMeeting.
  • Fluent in testing strategies and experienced in test execution for web-based applications, including identifying and evaluating the limits and alternate paths.

UX/UI (User Interface/Experience) DEVELOPER – ARCHIBUS


  • Apply your expertise in developing effective user interface designs to create a spectacular user experience for the users of the ARCHIBUS integrated workplace management system, on both web and mobile platforms.
  • Join the development team in bringing your designs to life; get your hands dirty with XML, Javascript, and even the occasional Java class to turn designs into reality.
  • Become an expert in the functional capabilities of ARCHIBUS, its possibilities and limitations with respect to UI/UX design, and its technical architecture.
  • Assist software developers during the software design phase, and assist analysts and project managers with development of project plans, estimates, requirements, and testing.


  • B.S./M.S. in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems etc.
  • Solid experience applying an analytical approach to usability, user experience, and user interface design for web applications.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity in your field, and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of your knowledge.
  • The ability to clearly and concisely communicate (and defend) your design ideas to clients, analysts, developers, and project managers.
  • Solid skills with the basics of web-UI development: XML and Javascript in particular.
  • Basic programming and database skills. You need to be able to work your way around Java classes and relational databases.

Software Developer/Engineer


Work in dynamic, driven, face paced environment with similarly motivated team members to customize and extend ARCHIBUS, the world’s leading integration workspace management system.  Specialize in service and data tier activities as part of an agile team, attending and participating in daily standups and weekly retrospectives while working closely with team members on a daily basis.  Participate across the software development lifecycle, including supporting and leading component design, development, and test activities, along with involvement in the requirements gathering process.  Collaboratively work with internal team members as well as the client, applying knowledge of multiple design principles, open source frameworks, and tools to achieve desired project outcomes with high initial quality.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 – 3 years of experience with software development with n-tier or service oriented Java systems
  • 1+ years of experience with Maven
  • 1+ years of experience with relational databases
  • 1+ years of experience with Git
  • Strong understanding of object oriented analysis and design
  • Strong foundation with open source software
  • B.S. or greater in Computer Science or related discipline
  • You must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with agile techniques, especially Kanban and Unified Process (e.g., OpenUP)
  • Experience with Business Driven Development approaches and technologies (e.g., Specification by Example, Cucumber)

Apply your expertise in managing client expectations, project deliverables, resources, and the project schedule.

  • Manage requirements gathering sessions and work with the business analyst in the development of process flow diagrams, use cases, and screen mock-ups.
  • Manage and work with the technical lead, development team and business analyst, throughout the lifecycle to ensure the highest quality end product.
  • Review and approve all documentation and system deliverables to the customer.
  • Manage and work with internal and external testing teams.
  • Report on project status and risks to the customer and upper management.


  • College degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in planning and managing IT, web-based, database-driven projects.
  • Excellent client and team communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Possess creative and independent problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience with CMMI and PMI practices are a plus.
  • Federal government project experience desired.
  • PMP-certification a plus.
